When flippin' i use Tru-Tungsten weights from 1/8 - 1/2 oz. I hardly use a 1/8 oz. weight while flippin' but sometimes they want a slow fall in shallow water where a 1/4 oz. is too much.

Most of the cover I fish is not that heavy, so I rarely go over 3/8oz. And I rarely go lighter than 1/4oz. But overall, I'd say O use 3/8 the most. I use the Tru Tungsten Denny Brauer Flipping weight. I don't really know why, I just like them better for flipping then regular bullet weights.

Bullet weights work great when you're flipping. Although for a more natural looking descent to your soft plastics, I've been using a weighted hook.
