I suppose of all the lures I've purchased over the years, the Dancin Eel falls into this catagory....I've never caught a thing on it, but I sure like watchin it swim thru the water so I continue to try it...hahaha.

And if we are throwing baits that don't catch fish for us on a bench then Bamabassman is going to need a bigger shop with more benches LMAO.

I can say this when I get a new lure I don’t hold on to it......I test it immediately…..if it doesn’t have good action….to me I usually put it in the “use someday box”! bad thing about this is it doesn’t really give that lure it’s fair chance!

So it's gonna be like that, huh?
Kory even sent me a PM asking why I haven't responded yet. Guess he's eager for an @$$ kicking...

I have shared a boat with CarolinaRig for a few hours on Kentucky Lake and I have come to the conclusion that him catching a bunch of fish on ThunderStruck Jigs says more about boat positioning than it does his jigs LOL. I know he front-ended us terribly that day....he had a nice ledge to cast to, whereas us in the back of the boat had flat bottom with no structure at all.

Say what you want buddy. But that ledge ran back behind the boat too. In fact Woody was behind you and he caught fish. Sounds like your the one that took the @$$ kicking... LOL

Have you even been able to get that thing to run straight, let alone turn when you want it to?

x2. However, with me, it's zero, zip, nada.

You can add buzzbaits to the mix.

Really??? Wow. Next time you're on the Potomac give it a shot in the creeks in the last hour of outgoing tide when there's 8" of water over the grass (hydrilla) edges.......May to June is best time of year. I love the little one then. The bigger one I like over the hydrilla beds around the wrecks in Mallows.

I went fishing in Idaho with a guide and he smoked the largemouth and the northerns on the Banjo minnow. I'm like "what's that lure?" He started laughing and said it was the BANJO MINNOW! He said he got smoked by a guy before who was using them so he picked up some. So, I picked up some, caught nothing in Florida, and gave them to the Goodwill.

I also couldn't stand the heat from my "fishing buddies' who laughed everytime I used one. That is probably the biggest reason I didn't catch anything on them. As for spinnerbaits, Lord, I have caught a thousand bass on them. Great lure. Works all year long, even in the dead of winter.

Guy was using them hear where I live Monday and caught Three bass, catfish, pike, and snake head. He showed me from the live well. From what I have heard they work best on rivers.

So far from just getting into freshwater fishing over last two years I have caught one bass on blue fleck ribbon worm texas rigged. Haven't caught anything on spinners, buzz baits, traps, lizzards, and jerk bait. But its probably just me LMAO!

Stop driving to texas to fish a worm spend more time on the water with a rod in hand instead of driving.
Seriously it does not matter if texas or c rigged what matters is placing it in front of them, and they deciding to eat it.
Lose the weight toss a senko,or move to a better location .
Campsites available here in my side yard.Joke as im guessing your trying to hard.
Needs to be a pleasure not an effort.

An old bait that looked unreal in the water and never produced was Whopper Stopper's Dirty Bird.

Everything works fine and catches fish....Its the fisherman that needs to understand how to work the bait in the right conditions and areas.....If a shoelace works, obviously a helicopter lure will too.

So naturally I hate every #%&@#*# lure in the world.

Banjo minnow looks great, but I have never caught a fish on one. The fluks do catch fish for me in clearer water.
