My Fishing Life is Now Screwed

Work has already been nuts lately and cutting into fishing time, unfortunately, more money has been going out than coming in. Therefore I just spent the last 3 hours posting mulitiple online ads. If I get half the response I'm expecting, I'm gonna be swamped with work for a while. Now I really don't know where I'm gonna find the time to test out all my new lures.

if only that was true. but in order to fish, there has to be money unfortunatly. im starting to look for a side job some of this summer and im only 14.

ya, but my parents dont buy me everything. they buy me somestuff, but i have to buy most of my fishing gear. besides, its only a side job in the summer, and my cousin and granpa work there, and most times they go fishin after work anyways. and we have weekends off, and get off around 2-3. so its really not bad. plus it pays good money.

I'm 15 and i have a job. I make minimum wadge($5.35 in NJ). I only work 2 days a week for 5 hours. thats about $53.00 a mouth. thats good for me! I can buy anything i want to. ITS GREAT! i work at an ice cream stand with all my cousins. Its so much fun!

at first i was gunna be the banana boy at planet smoothie ;D which pays 7.00/hour. but that isnt lookin so good anymore. so now this summer when i go up to visit family im gunna work with my grandpa and my cousin painting. not sure how much i will get yet.

i used to make around 200 dollars workin for a plant that makes mulch for hydro planting, but i dont anymore. i sometimes work at a hod site. its good for now till i have to start payin for gas and cars.

I'm working in a corporate warehouse. Just basically counting and pulling parts off the shelves, assembling kits and sending them out to manufacturing or whomever needs them. A little boring maybe, but it needs to be done and boring is never a complaint I would worry about with just a summer job.

My only real regret is I work M-F 7-4, thus limiting my fishing during the less crowded week.

well, this summer ill be knocking out alot of money. Mowing grass= 20.00$
Watching my niece= 25.00$ a week
and anything else that I can do for some money

I get a pretty good bit of money but because of the monkey I cant keep it more than 3 or 4 days for buying takle.

I'm applying for some jobs, right now I get $40 a month at home for doing various chores and "getting good grades."

its great to see the younger generation getting out and enjoying the great outdoor and especially fishing but i have to say that i have the best job of all. I am a career firefighter i work 24 hours on and then have 48 hours off and all i do in the spare time is fish, sorry that you guys can't get more money for what you do, but remember the harder you work now the better you will have it later.

Man thats got to be nice. My brother has the same job. I'm seriously thinking about it. I've still got a few years though.

i have talked to alot of people that both respect and appreciate a GW. plus it is great to bust lake lice while they speed thru no wake zones, and if they bother fishermen 8)

and the pay is awful, practically at the poverty level is starting salary, add members to the family and its gonna be tough to make ends meet.
