So long as the Arabs fight tribe against tribe, so long will they be a little people, a silly people, greedy, barbarous, and cruel, as you are.

lmao at whoever that was disquised as byron velvick. cajun, he might have some accomplishments, but he threw it all away when he did that show. before that show i had never heard of the guy, and if he is getting most of his reconition by being on a bacholer(SP?) show then that is not to good. he is obviously a good fisherman to be a pro. but i think i will stay with the pro's who actually get famous by fishing.

I'm with Rebbasser on this! I'm not a big Byron fan or nothing but who wouldn't want 25 gorgeous women fighting over him- AND getting paid for it He's no Rick Clunn but he's a good fisherman. I don't think you've heard the last of his career by a long shot- he's just opened it up to some new venues.

and thats not going to happen. he may be good enough to go pro, but more then likely he wont be the best. that is a good point, i dont think that i would turn down a show like that either. i still am not to fond of this guy. maria, why do you think he will be the greatest? just because you like him? have you ever watched any of the tournies he is in? just wondering.

The guy ain't ever going to be in a hall of fame.He is not that caliber of a fisherman even with all of his accomplishments in fishing, the greasy smiling jerk is going to be remembered for the TV Characters outside of competetive bass fishing. :P Ivan

Maria I heard they did split up. Something about he came home, she caught a slight smell of fish on his hands. Since he doesn't catch many anymore she jumped to conclusions. I really dont understand what she was getting at.

wow, this girl has to be the most gullible person i have ever met who is this mary girl ??? why are you asking a ? like that on a bass site? do you honestly think anyone here watches this show? btw, i dont think he is the host of basscenter, i could be wrong, but i think he was just on that one episode. so either you dont watch it, or just watched that episode. and if he is one of the hosts, then i must have missed something. how old are you anyway? please use some punctuation. my IQ doesnt need to be reduced anymore. most knbow by now that my IQ level is starting to dip into the negatives ;D ;D try to find a fan club on this guy. most have them.

And I can get more extravagant women than him, and I don't need to have a T.V show to find them!

Plus my fishing skill's just alone in Ice fishing couls surpass that yeller belly from Flordia.

And to squash the roomer that I'm self centered.... Well I'm just better than the rest of you! (lol) (joke)

How has this post gone on for so long? First off Maria- learn to spell, 2nd- punctuation example: !,.,?,",. Did you not take the hint that no one here cares who this guy is. Zilla- I think you could take him on the ice. That yellow bellied Fl comment- me and you could have some issues!!! > Lastly to that stud fisherman- be afraid, be very afraid......You officially have a stalker. Hint....Send her directions to your location in english...she will never find you. Oh yeah, if you are reading this? Could you hook me up with the digits of a few of the throwbacks. ;D ;D 8)

I fished with Byron a few years back, long before the show, on his home lake lake mead, He is a pretty good stick. But he wasn't quite as pretty as he is now. Nothing against him, he has had some good finishes. I think the show was a major mistake for his career. None the less thats who he is. I have watched him fish and he is quite capable of turning decent weights. Idolize if you wish Maria, hes not a bad guy, but i wouldnt let my daughter date him. .......... Scott R

I dont think he's a bad guy and I also don't think he hurt bass fishing by doing the show. The only thing I have against him is he picked the ugliest girl out of 25 to marry.
That Mary is a real dog. He passed up some real knock out for her to so I think he must have mental problems. Or he is legally blind! LOL Deaf too!
