Default Tennessee-Tims Ford Report

Fished night upper end from Bass Club to Devils Step. Found fish on gravel rounds close to channel in about 5 feet of clear water. Water temp. low 80's. Was a full moon and partly clear skies and no wind.

Caught 3 keeper bass (over 15") and several peanuts. Also, many were spotted bass, what a fight. Had to throw the tackle box to find and stay on fish. Most were caught on blue-black half oz. jig and plastic trailer and same weight spinner bait, dual Colorado blades.

Tims Ford is near winchester and lynchburg tennessee, northwest of chattanooga. Its a deep clear lake, made by TVA by the damming of the elk river. Its has a nice population of smallmouth and stripers. It can also be a difficult lake to fish.

Basslover, he is really south of you about 100 miles or so.
