THUMBS UP ON AiRRUS RODS
I have three of them, they are my favorite rods at this time. Excellent for just about any type of fishing, they are very sensitive and have plenty of action with a sturdy backbone for fighting big fish. Overall....well worth the money I paid. I would not hesitate to buy another or reccommend one to others. I prefer them over my loomis, st. croix, and kistler rods. I tried to sell my pistol grip here on this site about a year ago, and had no takers, now I'm glad no one bought it, I have gotten very comfortable with it. BUY ONE, YOU WILL LOVE IT. (if you dont', sell it to me... )

Are they very light?? I have been wanting one, I just want to be able to feel it before I use it. Are they as light or lighter compared to a loomis 7'10 heavy action?

the rod i have is a 6'6'' mh it is quite light even for a 6'6'' rod. i really can not compare it weight wise as all but one rod i have is 7 foot.. one thing i do notice is it's ability to cast as far as any 7 footer.. zooker

They are light, but there are lighter rods on the market. To me, the weight is not the issue when it comes to rods, but overall performance is, my AiRRUS rods seem to have better all around performance and one thing in particular I have noticed since using them, is the increase in my hook set ratio. Seriously, if someone on this forum buys an AiRRUS, and is not happy with it, AiRRUS will probably take it back. When I bought my first AiRRUS, I did not realize I had purchased a pistol grip model. I called the guy I ordered it from and he offered to exchange it for another model or just take it back. I believe his name was Don. However, I honestly believe if you do try one, you will find it to be one of your favorites.

Right now giving one of the newer PT Accurist Quantums the working out. So far so good. Cant complain bout the reel course you know I wont complain bout the rod. The combo feels REAL GOOD. Using 65lb Power Pro on it and knock on wood no lost fish as of yet.

You can get them through the site. BPS and Cabelas dont carry them to my knowledge. My local store carries them though.

I just bought a 7'9" EH Co-Matrix flipping stick. I can't wait for that puppy to get here. Of course it's supposed to snow like crazy here starting tomorrow night. Wish I would have ordered it a week ago so I could have used it when it was in the sixties here this past week.
