Summertime Lure
what is your favoirte summer time lure and why....mine is a culprit purple and black worm i get so many hits of jus that one worm than every thing in my tackle box combined.

Mine is a top water frog. Because it's good for fishing the weeds where the fish like to hang out

It would depend on where on the lake the fish are and what time of day, things like that. Early I usually go with a surface bait. Then work the shallow to mid depths with a spinnerbait or senco style worm. As the morning winds on, I wind up with a crankbait and start working the deeper weedbeds.

powerbait 6'' blue fleck worm. seems to worm well for me in the summer around structure in deeper water where the bass are hangin out

morning topwater frog or buzzbait......as sun comes up and starts to heat up switch to spinner bait chartreuse and texas rigged brush hog......in the heat of the day hit shaded channels with jigs, accational spinner bait, and finesse usually a shad colored fluke......
