Sunday Report
First there was all this rain and lightning and it finally ended. High skies and burning hot sun next. Then clouds and cool temps.. A smorgasbord of weather tonight.. That first fish took forever to bite. After that it was all good with about 18 LGMouth boated.
A good night again.. Capt Mike

Too bad you weren't on the water to enjoy the light show. Also I noticed yesterday that right after the storm went through we had incoming, then outgoing, then incoming, then a good outgoing, then it stopped, then it began outgoing again. Very strange tide yesterday. Very high tide too compared to Sat. Had fun pitching the toad way back. Never really caught any close to the bank they were all near the channel edge.

Rumors were spreading that 40 boats or so got swamped somewhere on the river. You hear anything?
It's amazing that one year ago I was fishing the Stren out of Smallwood and we had very similar nasty t-storm roll through and swamped 3 boats. I believe there was an actual tornado in that one. |

Bryans Road and Charles County responded to four boats in trouble..
Never heard the result but the boat radio was crackling with coast guard calls.. Capt Mike

4 I can understand but 40 sounded like one heck of a lot of stupid people who weren't smart enough to get off the main river.
