Mike, if you and I ever meet up at one of these events, I'm buying you a beer, a steak, or a glass of whiskey. Your choice.

Ok, I'll buy you all 3. How's that?
I can hear it now;
"Mike, you want a steak, a beer, or a glass of Maker's Mark?"
"Yes, thanks...."

Tell ya what Daniel. If I can make it and Mike shows up too, you buy the steak and I'll get the case of beer. Unless we end up back at Lake Wheeler. That's a dry county!

I would like to see more people attend next year. I know the main issue for our low attendance was the poor ecomony we experienced. Maybe next year will be better for all of us.

Would the Carolinas be a long drive for the southern brethren.? Lake Fontana has rentals too.

That's 530ish miles for me, or a little over eight hours driving time. Almost the same distance to Dale Hollow from here.

If I win the lottery, I will just write a few checks so everyone can come.

Except you, NoFear.

Well Fontana is about 7 or 8 hrs for me too. It has it all including 400 foot deep sections..
280 miles of shore to fish. Lgmouth and Smallies.. Walleye and flathead catfish too.
