Default I have a great wife!

My wife and I will celebrate our 10th anniversary tomorrow and she planned us a get-a-way for 3 days starting Friday (kids will be with the grandparents!). She rented us a house at Lake Anna (where my first bass tournament of the year will be held) for the weekend. We are taking the boat an plan to do some fishing. The real kicker is the weather. It's going to SUCK! Friday will be 34 and rain/freezing rain all day. Saturday will be 38 and some rain and Sunday will be 48 with a slight chance of rain. She's still down with that. I bought her some rain gear and plan to get her some Gortex shoes to help her stay dry. I think that's pretty awesome that she would go through all that so I can practice for a tournament on our anniversary. I definately got a "KEEPER"!!!

Hope your trip is nice. I can't wait for bass season to kick-off again!

You could always think positive. If it is raining for your trip, and for the tournamnet, you may establish a pattern!

Default yes you do

Sounds like my wife, she wants to plan our vacation this year to include some sort of fishing. We've been married 33 years. Any ideas on a good fishing vacation?

Thanks guys. Looks like Sat. and Sun won't be too bad now but Friday will be a mess. They're calling for a 1/4" of ice.

bcklash,

Depending on how far you want to travel... Kentucky Lake is a lot of fun too. My brother and I fished the National Championship tournament for FOM there in May 05. We rented a house on the lake for a week for around $1,100. It had a ramp in the backyard. We caught a PILE of bass the whole week. Lot of 4-5 lb fish there. We even caught a 4- 4 1/2 lb smallie. I'd love to get a chance to go back there again!

Thanks BassAddict, she has mentioned Kentucky and Iwould love to fish that lake and Reelfoot one time. Sounds like it might worth checking into. As for Carolina-rig-01, if c-rig-01 jr comes along it means the milkman followed us on vacation.

Actually she does and she's single.

We had a great time. Fishing wasn't good but it was nice to get away for a few days. It was cold the whole time and we didn't do to much running on the lake. We actually both had a touch of the flu so we stayed inside mostly. We fished some Sat. and Sun. but no bites at all. It's a beautiful lake but I swear I can't catch any fish there. I actually hate fishing there but I'll have to suck it up next month and try to scratch out something.
