Default Weekend Report

This weekend I got fewer LGMouth than normal fishing trips but the LGMouth did bite. I would guess the lack of cloud cover to be the main reason the LGMouth where not looking up for food.
Saturday saw some nice chunky LGMouth on Waldorf hair bug and horny toads. No pics as most fish where under 2.5 lbs.
Sunday was almost a repeat till the sun got down and shadows got long. Then some really nice bass fell the Waldorf bug..

Nice fish! Those jigs look like the ones Larry from Buffalo ties. Do you use them all year there?

I've heard that you've been getting skinny lately.......

(Lack of George's or hard work using the push pole?)

Dales has ribs and chicken and they are not bad. Yes I am about 15 lbs down due to the heat and lack of appettite..

I have used the push pole for several hours each trip many high tide trips this year.

Last two nights have been very hot..

The big one was 6.5 lbs approx.

Bender those are fly's cast on a 8 wt floating line. They are frog imitations made fron deer hair and chicken feathers. The real name is a dalberg diver but in SMIB landia we call them Waldorf Bugs.

They float and when you pull on them they produce fish porn sounds.

ploop ploop ploop.... then wait as long as you can stand it.

Topwater is about jazz not rhythm......
