Dont waste your money on the eon. The one reel that ambassaduer shouldnt have made.

I had 40 Abu reels at one time. Now I got a 4600 sized reel peiced together from various 4600-5000 reel parts. Its ain't all one color, but it works fine.I have 3 Abu Tornos 3004Hs reels, A 3500CS Rocket IAR reel I bought in Sweden years ago.The 3500 reel or even parts for it is not sold in the US, it was only sold in South America. When the time comes, I can fix it with Morrum or black max parts.P N J

i was told the torno was not as smooth as the C3 and when i tested it in the pond behind the bait shop it wasnt as smooth as the C3 so that is why it got the C3

i am usin it for tossing cranks

i use a torno for cranks. smoothness is a given i have reels that grind like a coffee grind but are very smooth. for me with cranks i don't feel the smoothness of the reel just the feel of the bait. which is why i never reel a crank with the rod pointed straight at it.. forget the bassmaster bull crap pro's preach. best feel is from the rod pointed 90 or so degrees. trust me i have replaced enough rod tip eyes from doing it..

Heres a thought for some of you youngsters.......

Ever wondered why some of us older folks throw cranks on reels that are prolly as old as us. For some reason and I cant explain but the feel or sensitivity is better with a reel that has had a few turns on the cranks. One of the reasons that the old lew's BB1n is such a great reel.

that was the reason i choose the go with abu because a reel company that has been around that long has to be pretty good

Appx. 15 abu 4600 C3's.
Three abu 4600 C4's
A couple 5000's
A couple 5500's
A couple 6500's
The only problem is that I now use Quantums.

An Abu G 5-Star Round reel with the crank on the "wrong" side. It looks just like a C3 or C4 bt with different color.

Also, A Cardinal 101 for my UL rig. You can't beat this spinning reel's bang for the buck at $29.99.
