advice fishing on boat
I just got lucky and a neighbor, who fishes tourneys, invited me and my dad to go a couple of times with him on his boat. I posted a thread about the lake before but we'll be out in a boat, and deep, I've never been bassfishing on a boat this time of year, so what should I use and where?

I'd let the guy running the boat decide that, if he goes shallow ask him what to use, its bound to be a worm, crankbait, jig, spinnerbait, top water...so if you have one of those in your tackle box, ask him what he's going to throw, or just watch what he has on and get you one on....

I agree with JB-this can be a great learning experience. Pay attention to what he does and how he does it and you can learn a lot.
