Angle of Lip on Crankbaits
Could someone please explain how the angle of the lip on crankbaits affects it's action/depth?
Thanks |

The angle of a lip on a crankbait determins alot. The steeper the angle, the shallower and wider wobble the bait will have. The straighter the angle, the deeper and alittle tighter the bait is. But a variation of materials the body is made of paired with different angles of lips can make it run alittle different. Like a balsa bait with a straight lip will have more wobble than a plastic bait with the same angled lip. Don't forget lenght too. The longer the lip the deeper it will usually run. Good fishin'
