This weather is crazy. I went a couple of times in January. Haven't had a chance yet this month. Well tomorrow is March and I'm ready if the weather gets better. I got a lot of things to do around the house that need done if I want to go as often as I'd like. So if it stays cold for another couple of weeks I should be done with most things.

Well Bassintxlady if here in illinois it didn't get cold, and lay off fishin for a few months I would be fishing everyday, and there is a bit more to life than fishin.

now that i have recovered from the shock of "there's more to life than fishing"......i'll have to say.....i'm glad for you.....but darlin.....fishing is my life.....i've tried all the rest....and to be honest....it's really overated .....when you get to my age....you look for the happy.....not the unusual......

No I wasn't trying to be rude or anything. My point was not everyone wants to live in the state of Texas just so they can fish everyday. Theres more to life meaning you can't fish everyday, and if the weather was nice everywhere all year around noone would do anything else, but fish. I guess to me your post just felt like it was implying that texas is better than any other state, and im pretty happy with the state I live in, and support it, but hey don't take what I say to the heart... I've been a member here for over 3 years, and everyone here knows I can be a little rude/cranky at times.. not to mention make a big deal out of nothing.
