Default mounting fishing poles on your bike

there are a few lakes i like to fish that are about a mile - 1.5 mile hike to get to, and i wanted to find out a way to put my poles on my bike so i can make that trip hella shorter and have more time to fish. if you have any ideas please post them, i would prefer ther they be more horizontal than vertical so they dont hit the trees above me, even an angle will do i just dont want them straight up. any help will be greatly appreciated. btw hoping to make it for 3 poles but 2 will do. also i was thinkin of using PVC as it its cheap and light.

I'd tie them together then tie them along the horizontal bar the runs from the handlebars to the seat. Put the reels toward the front with the tips pointing behind you.

well i would rather have tips up and reels down casue the tipps might hit the gears, and i could just have a bunjee holding the reels a bit higher than gears

Use pvc pipe , or get a rod bag and mount it on your bike. I know rhino makes a over the sholder 4 piece rod set that works good.

Check it out I got one for my truck works good.

here is the article on how it did and under 50 bucks.

JUst carry 'em. Hold the reel, and make sure to keep your tips up.

Since you might have normal handle bars any rod mounting for a rail would work on a bike. Once holder is mounted use a small bungee to hold them in place over the reel. I use the same setup on my truck to hold twelve rods in the surf and sand. And it gets mighty bumpy in the sand at 20 mph.

use pvc, and stick the tip over the handle. take off the reel, and fold it up (bend handle down, loosen the handle first). Put reel in a small ziplock bag, tie ziplock around midsection of the bike, TIGHT. bungee under the seat, not by the handles, so you can move.

I sometimes bike down to the lake, thats about 2 miles away from here, and I take a 2 piece rod, put it in a backpack, with a small tacklebox, with my best baits in it, and put the in a backpack. If you get a 2 piece 6'6" it works pretty well.

why not just put the reels in a back back..then screw something like this (pic) on your front pegs (wider so more than one rod can fit...and have the rod tips facing backward so they dont get caught in the trees..have them on like a 45 degree angle..you dont want to be riding past a tree and have the tip get caught on the tree unknowlingly and snap..this is the best idea i could come up with...

i didnt mean to buy that...use like a coffee can or something like that pic...thats why i said something like it...it has enough room for more than one rod and is thin metal that a screw can go through...
