tropical storm katrina
is coming thru and im wondering will the fish be active while these feeder bands roll thru, and what baits to use at this time. (or should i just stay dry cuz the fish are hidin)

Go fishing whenever you can. Throw some spinnerbaits/buzzbaits, and cranks. When they fire up, they will be active. If they aren't pounding these baits, switch up to some plastics. Don't hide from the fish, go fishing.

i would use a popper.sounds wierd but i caught my biggest fish on a popper when ivan was near.i also caught like 12 bass during a 2 hour time period in a storm.

Definitely Go fishin and just use the usaul baits that they hit that will prob work durin the storms.

well the storm turned south, so just a little breeze today, not really abnormal, caught one poppin right as the bait stopped and one chuggin it in a corner where the wind was makin little waves and current movin towards a corner...the second fish just jumped all over it while i was retrieving it kinda fast.....just wish i hadnt wasted time fishin a worm in the grass line, that didnt do crap

out to the gulf and up floridas west coast to the panhandle. And dang thats a lot of people already since most lives are lost during clean up.

i live in longwood, and i had a few small quick bands, but after about 3 really it was pretty clear and breezy till i left at 6...then it poured on my softball game about 9, so i guess i just caught a break for a while

never mind im not going fishin its up 175 mph(2:15,8/28) i did good yesterday but im not going to chance it,fishing is my life but not worth giving up,im susspected to lose power sometime monday so yall might not hear from me for a while

Not good news for New Orleans. It sits 10 feet below sea level and they are expecting a 20 foot storm surge, which means the water could be 30 feet deep in the city.
