Not One
I went out today in a pond and fished a cove down here in SC .. got to the 70's.. fished a cork and worm.. spinner bait spoon,beetle spin,beetle spin jig with 3 diffrent color lures and didnt catch a thing.. What am i doing wrong?

I agree with Lunk, but anyways try a crankbait. Pick up a Bandit 100 Series in Bluegill or something and try that. OH! and some rattletraps. you know, just let the baitmonkey go wild!

Not enough info in your post friend. Was it sunny, cloudy, a mix? Whats the weather been like the past 5 days? Whats the water temp where your fishing? What kind of cover and structure is in that cove? Any deep water nearby? Thats crucial this time of year. What time of day were you fishing? Things like that will help us to help you. I like two lures early in the spring. A chatterbait and a Smithwick Rattlin Rouge. But other lures work well too. A jig n pig, and a lipless crankbait will also work well. A shallow crankbait worked near cover. Or a texas rigged salamander worked near the beds if the spawn has begun.
