Bass Fishing in Wa, Id, and Mt

I am looking for ideas on good bass fishing lakes in Washington, Idaho, and/or Montana. I live a stone's throw from the border to Idaho and Montana, and am doing some research on places to fish down there. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I am also looking to possibly enter some tournaments next year and I have heard that joining a bass club is a good place to start. Since there are none in my area (bass clubs or tournaments), I am wondering about possibly joining one in either Idaho or Montana. Let me know what you think.
