BPS Reels

Hey guys, i was browsing the BPS website and noticed that they have two extremes, (last years and this years models), both are $79. Same goes for the Rick Clunn reels, and several other BPS reels, are they keeping the old models too?

I noticed that too, Ryan. About a week ago, last year's model Extremes were on sale for $65 or so, I think. I doubt they'll keep both models, looks like they were trying to get rid of last year's. I didn't notice the Rick Clunns or anything else.

I plan to make the trip to Bass Pro on saturday to pick up another clunn reel...

i noticed that too a few months ago when i was reel shopping, but figured they were keeping the less expensive reel in thier line up since it was a smash success for bps sales. Most marketing ppl will then offer a more expensive reel in the same line to get sales based on the others past history of acceptance.

The old Extreme reels were very good ( Rebbasser can jump and tell us about them ), the newer models ..... got me on that one.
