Homer Circle???
Uncle Homer,
Do you happen to read this board? I've seen quite a few suggestions on here that seem to match your own collums. Of course it could be your large following forwarding your advice, or I could be reading advice straight from the horses mouth days before its published to other sources (newspaper, magazines, etc.). Just curious. Local Ocala Native, Rob.

I wouldn't think that Homer would read our board, but then again.......???
There are a lot of helpful bits of information floating about concerning the subject of fishing and some overlap is bound to happen. My buddy and I, for example, came up with the idea of slowfall/deadsticking soft plastics years ago before the names appeared.....but even before then, years and years before, folks were using those very same methods in their fishing. Some things are continually being re-invented. That being said, however, doesn't preclude the fact that Homer's advice is any less valid or valuable.......he's a walking encyclopedia of wise and helpful information..... Sometimes I add things I've learned, but can't really recall where I learned it. This also happens. So, again, unintentional overlapping.... One nice thing about your observation points out in a manner that Homer Circle validates a lot of ideas we've been sharing. And if that's happening, we are in good hands. |
