Default I can see 'em

I can often see several bass in my boat house. Any thoughts on how to catch one? BTW, one did hit a crappie jig but the line (4 lb test) snapped immediately.
Thanks!

Try worms, they also may be spawning right now, they're hard to catch! You really gotta piss them off! Try getting a worm and just setting around where it is, dead stick it, they will pick it up sooner or later!

Hope this helps!

Welcome fishinphamer I would start with some heavier line and then maybe some rubber worms , jigs and the list could go on . Since you already fish crappie maybe you could just go with bigger jigs and it wouldn't be to much of a change for ya .

I would go first with heavier line like others have mentioned...then i would try a lizard since you are at a boat dock near land where its easier for a lizard to get to the bed....

ummmm sometimes the real big bass wont even glance at nothin if they are near your dock and they aint spawnin.... there was a 5+lber near my unclesdock and you could drop something on its head and it would just sit there or swim off

But if its spawnin throw a lizard... or you could just get heavier line and throw the same crappie jig
