Now THAT'S funny!!!
That goose would have taken himself off the "I don't kill anything that doesnt need killin" list.
One paddle whack across the neck and we'd see who laughs last!

On a side note, wish I could stand up and fish from my yak

I tend to steer clear of swans.
Not usually near geese when fishing

Ya I was wondering if this was old or not.

I was having a pretty crappy day today then I saw this and it brightened it up a little bit. lol

That goose committed a assault!

My grandma grew up on a farm and when I was young she would always tell me "Those geese are mean, they'll break your arm!" lol

Great post.
Geese are extremely territorial and vicious to boot.
I guy in Minneapolis awhile back actually had a 'guard geese' company.
Didn't last. He forgot to take in account what a filthy good for nothing bird it was. Anyone have geese visit thier dock or park?
They litterally do nothing but eat and crap all day long.

I laugh every time I see that video. I remember running for my life from geese when our family would picnic at the city park at the lake.

I fish a little pond in a subdivision occasionally that has a resident swan. All the neighborhood kids (and some adults) go out there to prove their toughness by seeing how close to the swan they can get. They always end up running and screaming with the swan flapping in pursuit. It's pretty funny. The odd thing is, the swan never gives me a second look. He either knows I'm not there to play with him or recognizes that I have a 7' stick in my hands. It is pretty amusing to see their reactions when I walk right up to him or past him without issue.

Maybe you could tell the kids that you are a swan whisperer and get them to give you their lunch money and fruit rollups to put in a good word for them hahaha.
