I don't have any pics. Ugly Sticks and Mono=Pisspoor hooksets. My dad and I got a guide. He did a good job putting us on the fish, but bad tackle lost us some fish. We caught about 6 fish. My dad caught the biggest one, 4 lbs. Next time I'll be taking my own rods.

Yes, I just got back from a service call at an automotive factory in Detriot just south of 8 Mile Rd. Any time on the water is better than that.

Where did you fish, and of course why didn't you bring your rods in the first place Hope you now know where the fish are now.

BTW, on the subject of Ugly sticks, IMHO if you are gonna fish these rods, you should use some circle hooks. More of a rod sweeping action rather than a solid hookset.

Oklawaha River. Fished 3 spots, first spot was half mile from the Boat Basin on 40 where the Silver River and Oklawaha River meets, same spot I've thrown crank baits on the mud line before, then we ran down to a spot on the sharpes ferry section where a small creek flows into the river, then came back and fished the boat basin.

I shoulda brought my own poles but figured a guide would have stout equipment, especially for shiner fishing.
