Default Just an upgrade on outboard

For my old allison 2002,motor is deceptive its a 94 cnc into a 2000 ficht body, lightning 2 gearcase.185 propshaft hp on a dyno( low hrs) at its rated prms, balanced (this is a legal 150 hp ncoa standards motor)ran an alley over on watts bar lake 78mph on gps but he was having a problem with gear case venting so ran it deep at 2 1/2 under the cure is high speed scoops or supposed to be,am in slow process of restoring the old girl not fishing with her this season as have the 17 1/2 ft hydrosport to fish out of,seems I cant clean one up while using it often.

As mfg in 1990 the 2002 T for tournament model weighs 1060lbs,former owner raced ti and sanded for 40 days and nights suspect now about 1000 lbs, bare boat.
Pro comp is much lighter at 760,yet about 1/3 of the speed records are held by T models.
The allison 2002 holds most speed records for all hp ratings.
