Default Just sharing...with a smile.

http://www.landbigfish.com/Perfect-S...-Alpha-Jig.cfm

Seeing we kind of know the inception process of this great product really took to market, I had to chuckle when I read the first line in the discription.
Anyway I want thank ProReel for the early heads up and yes they do exactly as promised. I have really given them a work out and haven't lost any.
A must try for anyone but especially for rock bottom and submerged trees. I rarely promote lures due to way too much personal decision relies on choosing but these are a must try. Again on this site there are better jig makers and again , if you have a favorite it's probably going to always be and will always out perform for you. But for you buy in the store folks or internet buyers, this is well worth checking out.
Now again thanks to ProReel I personally go thru,

Shane has a relationship with Bo who really is the creater of the lure.

Remember this is a share, not a push!

Have a great weekend fishing!

I'm going to order a couple to try out, I have one question for ya joe. One of the first things I do, and many other guys do with any jig is trim back the weedgaurd. Do you think that is advisable with this particular jig?

I'm going to say....I'm a little afraid it would effect the cam action of hookset. The weedgaurds on these really have a dual purpose, prevent weeds and help insure roof of mouth penetration.
Now having said that, I strictly tried these and use these due to hank-up avoidance, not because I was unhappy with my hooksetting. I may trim one and give it a try. They have approx. 1/4 inch overhang (past hook point at the natural angle) and your basic flexibility (not really stiff).
My needs were more rock, like road destruction cement block crap along with natural large rock. Lost many a football head to them.
I was fortunate and was able to 'find' some 1/4 ozs. and I fish them like squarebills, only when hit rock the hesitation makes a drop as opposed to a float up. So these little 1/4s are finding themselves in some pretty tight spots. In other words, swimjigging.
Now the limited weed and grass modes I've tested them they come thru pretty clean. Thats why you trim right? If it's because you think shorter weedgaurds allow better hookset....I think I'd let them be at first. These because of dual weedgaurds assist on hookset as opposed the hinder "surestrike', I guess anyway. Now my understanding is Pro has done the tree thing and boat fishes so he's probably better advice than me. From my understanding he's done some real good testing with alot of positives. But I really can't speak for anyone else. Sorry.

Now I want to state that no-way am I saying these are some miracle jig. I have had to do some hard snaps to get jigs out of binds but I did always get them back. The rolling over branch thing from what I hear is great and near hangup free? The price is fair and my hooks were sharp and the colors were ok. I also did a second order and gave numerous away to my Mississippi River buddies and others and most ordered some. Like some others, the hardest part of jig fishing for me is...not loosing the jig.
I'm not under any description a 'jigging' expert! I'm probably not the guy that should be giving any jigging advice at all.
But God blessed everyone with two ears and me having only one mouth, I feel the need to talk TWICE as much.

Hey email Shane, I found him to be a straight shooter, it's actually
Richard Garcia but goes by Shane. The email is spelled correctly.
