Thumbs up Tackleclause... Post What Tackle Santa brought you!

I figured I would start this now, but tomorrow, post up what santa brought you!

I figure the first thing I'm gonna do though is order a Fuego tomorrow though after I get all my dough! Than with the left over when we got to BPS on Saturday, I'm gonna get a rod (Vendetta) and line at BPS. Oh and I can't for get about the senkos, worms, hooks, cranks, top waters, frogs, jigs.... and.... well, you get it!

Enjoy your Christmas everyone!

I took a nap yesterday, and went to bed early, so not I'm up when no one else is! So I gotta wait a little longer!

I got a sweet deal on a new 46" Panasonic plasma 1080p wide-screen.

I've had my old set since 1998; so I was overdue for a new one.

Got a few things, but my wife gave me a Flambeau AZ6 soft tackle system. Had my eyes on that since last July when I spotted it in Cabelas. That soft sided tackle bag has tons of cool storage options. Tomorrow we'll have xmas with her side of the family. I have a feeling I'm gettin a few lures from Lucky Craft or a BPS giftcard. Regardless, I just feel blessed to still have my family together here with us and for all the blessings our Lord has blessed us with.

Ended up with 350 in BPS gift cards. Santa also brought me the Tom Tom I needed along with the South Eastern detailed GPS maps for the graph on the old boat. And a big ole southern Amen for what Keithdog said.

Nice stuff guys!

Since I only got 80 bucks this year, I'm kinda stuck between getting a vendetta (because my current rod it a heavy action rod), and getting tackle like worms, hooks, cranks and weights.

Hmmmm.....

I got a pair of polarized sunglasses, some new tools, and a wife who cried with joy at the ring I bought her (nothing beats making the wife cry with happiness - for one day it means you are out of the doghouse.....lol)

The standing four way arrangement between Santa, the BaitMonkey, My Wife, and myself is that I get to pick out most of my stuff between Boxing Day and when the water unthaws. With 6 kids, I have to spread the purchases out a bit more than most........ It means I always get stuff I really want though and usually a fair bit more of it than I would if it was bought before Christmas. Raingear is at the top of the wish list though. I missed the Cabelas sale but hope something goes on sale in the next couple of months.....

The crew really surprised me with a $200 GC to tacklwarehouse.com, the wife approved $50 for penny poker on pokerstars, Madden 10 for the Wii and an old school Nintendo controller for the Wii, and a little ching ching from the rest of my family. Now it's decision time. The Revo winch or the Curado 200E5. Leaning more on the Curado though, tested and proven since the debut. And planning on consummating the marriage of rod & reel with a TGR 7' cranking rod. I made enough on the rig tow from Mex playing cards to throw in a TGR 7' all purpose. And like Keithdog said, the real blessing was making it home to them and playing Guess Who and Mousetrap like I was a kid again. And tonight I will have the rest of the family over for fellowship and a Wal-Mart sandwich tray.

wtg man! That was really cool of "the crew" to get that gift card for ya. btw, you already know (this being a pretty die hard garica forum) that everyone will say get the winch, so just get the winch!

Bubba, I had to make the same decision. I went with the Curado. I might have went with the Winch but I am going to use it for deep crankbaits. It was a tough decision. The only thing was the Winch holds more line but I've never spooled a reel yet.

Sorry to bump the grain Boss, but I think I am going with the Curado. It is going to be for crankin' too Bob. That will leave me a little change for some Robos and Berkley Beast.
