Sunday Storm Report
Since I figured out the pattern on Saturday we just did the same thing today. Worked out pretty good with some big blow ups and a snakehead that just could not be hooked. The snakehead hit the toad about five times and never got hooked.. Then a huge storm cell hit and it was bolts of lightning and rain in buckets coming down. Only lasted 30 minutes and was gone. Here are some pics.

The first flash boom and I was headed for the shore. Could see sunshine the entire time. Pulled back out to see it rain over in Mattawomen. Watched the bolts streak down on Md as I fished. Strange that the wind was blowing west as the storm was moving east.

I sometimes wonder if people think I am krazy.. Last night we had 48 close by strikes of lightning. I think about storm cells the entire time I take out clients in the summer. And I watch the radar and figure the angles and always slide up into some cliff on the back side of the storms. I have never ever been caught out in a strike area. I did watch guys pop there boat up on plane and try to beat the storm back to the dock. Bad move...
The nice thing is my boat only needs 3 inches of water to float. Makes getting back in the woods easy. 3D that west wind was the south edge of the cell as it spun. Capt Mike
