Academy blew me away

there is one opening 5 miles away from me in september, but i couldnt wait went to rockhill to the grand opening, wow great store and the h20 baits looke solid, they had a huge bass tank which spent a good 30 minites just gazing at them, shakespear was there with an above ground pool thing haveing tournaments for kids, small channels cats was in it.. now the good part, the little woman in all her greatness let me spend some money, lol a new okuma 7:3.1 cintris, for my carrot stik i have beening pining for a reel for. a nice falcon HD 7 M XF for wacky rigging. and a few bait. oh an reel covers for all.. meet a few nice guys from berkly and we talked my love for the big texan pit boss, got suckered for some grass pigs, they look nice.. all in all great day.

You'll love those grass pigs. I've been doing really well with just really them slow or slow rolling them along the bottom on a 1/2oz jighead, they just kill 'em! Can't wait for the weeds to start growing so I can fish one weightless through the weeds.

yea the look like the swimmin fluke, the berkly pro said that way or use a bell sinker type thing and slid it through the eye of the hook and let it slide up and down. said they were good on alabama if i was into that type of thing
