A Fine (but Lazy) State of Affairs
Well gentlemen, it's official!
North Carolina has been awarded the distinction of being the 4th laziest state in the nation. NC was exceeded in laziness only by the states of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Arkansas. This ranking was the result of some agency doing another of those pointless and money wasting surveys, and this revelation comes to us from our local newspaper. The article cited some of the criteria on which the results were based, including the time we spend napping, watching TV, etc. Strangely, it didn't mention fishing. Hmmmm. Maybe if we can teach a few more North Carolinians to fish, we can move up to the number one ranking. .

Nah Nanny Boo Boo, we still beat you hahaha. I reckon being from MS, it is not an award we should be proud of. But it does open more time to fish when you are lazy around the house.

I wondered about that too, Stick. Maybe they made random phone calls and only got responses from people who were not too busy to participate in their survey. However, that approach would omit all those who were too lazy to answer the phone in the first place.
DANG, I'm beginning to think this survey is tainted! Maybe we residents of NC should demand a recount. .

We may have gotten beat in this one but Mississippi won(?) the fattest state competition.
