I am back
Sorry guys I have been off the board and water for a few weeks. I am guessing this year is starting to catch up with me. But got some nice cool weather here in Vegas so ready to get back on the water. I love cold weather fishing the best.

When you say cold do you mean 70's? haha, just kidding. It was 29 when I hit the ramp Sunday morning here in Mississippi. Now somebody just has to tell the fish that they need to eat like crazy to stock up for winter.

Thanks guys and yeah Bender when it gets to 29 here we would declare a state of emergency!
I am heading out this weekend and will post some pics. I have a buddy here that is motivating me to get out more and my wonderful wife of 29+ years is pushing to go too. I am actually in the market for a mid size RV. We had a 40 footer but it was just too big. I want something I can pull the boat with and get in and out of places easier by myself. It’s not like we will live in it. We are going to our Flroida house after Thanksgiving until end of January. Definitely will be hitting the water with my son as much as he can. He’s young working and starting his family so it’s always good for him when dad comes to town. A big change is coming. We are in the process of selling our core business. I am ready to take a few years and wonder around as much as we can. We still have a teen in High School so can’t claim empty nest yet. Some of you may or may not know I buy and sell smaller business’s which is not my full time gig but is serving as my retirement. I have been buying some hands on business’s and I am kind of hoping to find one that I can transform and work it but not make it a 80 hour stress grind like our core business. One of the business’s we are looking is a farmer’s support company and I am totally digging it. My dream would be to grown that business as it’s very hands on and I get to play with tractors and equipment and it might be something my son takes an interest in. If that worked out, I would consider trying to go pro fishing again and have that to fall back on. We will see just kind of thinking out loud here and there. Talk to you all again soon. |
