And I'm ready to go! Hitting Flint Lake instead of Loomis where I have been fishing this year. Hoping to get into some larger bass. Supposed to be sunny and 80 degrees tomorrow, so we'll see. My 12 foot jon hasn't got much room, but I have 8 rigs ready to go.
1. Buzz bait 2. Spinner bait 3. Super Spook 4. Shallow Crank bait 5. Jig and Craw 6. Floating Hard Jerk Bait 7. Frog 8. Wacky Rigged Worm That's the starting line up. It was hard to decide what to take, and I can only have so many rigs ready at one time. But I think it's a good start. Winter was fierce and lasted wayyyy too long, so the water temp are just now maybe nearing 60 degrees if that. I havn't hear of any bedding, and I know last weekend, there were no signs of beds yet. But I'm hoping this weeks warmer weather is finally pulling them in a little bit. We'll see. The floating hard jerk bait, a Rattlin Rouge has been killing the bass my last two outing, but all small. Hope to get the interest of some larger brutes tomorrow. Lipless cranks lie in wait as well as a few other goodies.
