Default Rick clunn 2.5 dd rt

I just got the new RC 2.5 DD RT. Does anyone know how deep it dives? the package didnt say, and i cant find it on the web site.

RC 2.5 will go 4-6'. Haven't thrown the DD but I'd guess deeper than 8'.

10-14 is more like it.. i was on one of my deeper flats when i was throwing it..

about 4 feet with a relitively shallow diver like the 1.5 or 2.5 you looking to dig into the nastiest crap found in the water.. and can get away with a heavier line.. 17 is a bit heavy imo.. i'd go 12 easy enough..

A good rule of thumb when fishing cranks is to use the lightest line possible for the conditions you face, if thats heavy cover, go heavy, but in open water I like ten and sometimes eight. The lighter the line the deeper the bait will run, the more lively the action will be and will be less visible to fish.
