Default LC Pointer vs. Staysee

At the fishing show today, one of the guys at one of the booths was talking to me about the LC jerkbaits. He said he prefers the Staysee for smallmouth and the pointer for largemouth. But he couldn't tell me what the difference in their actions is.

So, what is the difference in the actions of the pointer and staysee jerkbaits. The staysee seems a bit narrower and is a deeper diver, but what else is different?

Staysees are deeper than normal Pointers, but now they have the DD series out. I think all my Staysees are 90mm long and Pointers are 78, 100, 112, and 128?. Personally I've done better with regular Pointers and not caught much on the Staycees but I have read that a different retrieve works better for them. More of a sweep of the rod and pause rather than jerking them.

Edit: I just checked LC's site and they only show Pointers in 65, 78, 100, and 128. The 98, 112, and 127s are Slenders. And the DDs are 65, 78, and 100mm. The interesting thing I see is that they all have #6 hooks now except the Slender Pointer with #4s. I seem to remember in the past that they had goofy #5 hooks on most of them. And they don't list the diving depth of the Staycee on there.
