New fishing game form Bass pro "The Strike" -- what are your thoughts?
http://www.thestrikegame.com/
This game actually looks pretty cool! It's for the 360, and Wii. Also the PC but does not have the fishing pole controller. But this game actually looks legit! What are your thoughts?

Whenever I get around to either getting our 360 repaired or replaced i'll have to try this out....I wondered how long it would be before someone came up with a decent controller for a fishing game....this one looks like a cool setup.

Mark Davis pro bass challenge is a great game, one of the best that I've played as far as fishing goes.

I've been craving this game! I've been watching the trailers for it ALL the time! It may actually be a good fishing game. I have an X-Box 360 and have Rapala Fishing Frenzy. It's good at first, but quickly gets boring after a week or so. It's not too realistic either because you catch a fish every cast.
And you get to buy all kinds of BPS rods, reels, lines, and lures on "The Strike!". That Bionic Blade rod kicks ***! I can't wait to get the game!

It also says that the 360 controller works for the PC too! And my 22" HD computer screen will suit it nicely! Here here!

Just picked up the game for Xbox 360 this afternoon on my lunch break from Best Buy. $80 for the game and fishing pole controller. Gonna play the heck out of it tonight. I'll let you all know how it plays tomorrow.

I think we have 2 versions of this threat floating around. I may have already posted my review in the other one. Anyway, this game is awesome! It has good graphics but the best part are the lakes. It has 10 legendary lakes from across the U.S. including Guntersville, Amistad, Oneida, Lake Fork, and many more. The lakes are huge and you're able to explore every inch of them. IMO the fish are still too easy to hook and catch, they need to try to incorporate working the bait correctly to inhibit strikes. But, it's a game and people want to catch em!! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who owns a Wii or Xbox.
