Lets see... mid 60s all week, nights warming to mid 30s by Sat. so they may be ready to start moving up for pre-spawn.

Have fun!

It is supposed to be in the low 50's this weekend here. Unfortunately, I still have my boat half ripped apart, but it will be worth it in the next few weeks.

Til then, I plan on hitting my favorite pond this Saturday with some traps and jerkbaits. Maybe crawl a jig, and if that doesn't work, I'll just sit back with some minnows for the crappie. Should be a nice day.

Can't ask for better weather compared to what it has been.

Mid to hi 40's here this weekend. I am going to check out a local pond to see if there is any open water. Might try a couple of road runners. And the other usual early stuff. If no open water I'm tien on a sinker and just gonna pretend.

Ever taken an afternoon at a pond and put out lines with no bait on them just so the fish don't pester you?

Here lately, I have been hearing the returning sounds of the song birds in the morning. I trust these birds a whole lot more than that stupid gopher.

50s by the weekend!

Everyday looks like a good day to fish to me, except when the water is hard. Unfortunately I have to work, take care of my house and blah blah blah. Making an effort to be half way mature and responsible sure interferes with the fising time I don't get any more.
