Default Revisited my boss' pond: The Next Day (pic)

Well after missing what I was sure was a 10 lb bass last night, there was no doubt that I was going back after work today. I got in the jonboat with my two rods and went straight over to the turtle trap.

I caught this little 2 lbr using a 4 inch baby brush hog (bullfrog color).

After feeling good, I picked up the other rod with the newly tied spinnerbait (black with red trim, double willow blades). I began casting all around the area where I lost the hawg last night. After about 7 or 8 casts, and with the video camera rolling, I got a hit. She started to pull pretty hard and and was about 75 feet away. She jumped and I knew she was the same fish from last night. After about two minutes, I got her to the boat. I had landed her!!!! I had a death grip on her this time and headed straight to the bank. I ran up to my boss' house so he could take a picture of me holding her. I took her measurements and a few more pictures. She was safely returned to the pond to grow even bigger. My Christmas present to myself this year will be a replica.

Length - 24 inches
Girth - 19.5 inches
Weight - 11.01 lbs

The video will not download on my home computer due to an update problem so I am going to have to try to download it at work tomorrow.

Yeah!!!! I knew you were going to catch her. Awesome! If you lived in WA State, you'd be nearly kissing the state record for LMB.
