Fluoro
Gander has Siglon fluoro for $5 a spool. Has anybody used this brand for deep cranking? Good or bad?

My fishing partner uses it all the time and loves it. I've used it on his reels several times.I think it is good for the money considering its half the price of other flouro lines. What have you heard that was bad?

I've heard quite a bit bad actually:
http://www.bassfishin.com/bassfishin...berkley+vanish http://www.bassfishin.com/bassfishin...berkley+vanish http://www.bassfishin.com/bassfishin...berkley+vanish http://www.bassfishin.com/bassfishin...berkley+vanish As for the original question (sorry we kinda got off topic). Also, I've never heard of Siglon, but for 5 bucks, give it a shot. If it's crap, then it's only 5 bucks. BB

I don't think BB144 is telling you not to use it. As always, you can make your own decisions. Just make informed decisions, and know that the reviews are mixed.

Well I personally havnt seen any problems with it but I don't want to lose a fish on the count of line.
I would rather spend a few more dollars on some line just for mental reason.

Sunline is one of the best flourocarbons out there. Not to say that Siglon is near that good because I have never used it.
