50 bass in 5 hrs
on friday i went fishing at my neighbors pond and i caught 30 bass that were from 12in to 16 1/2in bass. i was fishing for about 3 hours there.
then on Sunday i went out to my aunts cottage on a lake and caught about 20 bass. but the ones i caught there were 14 to 18 1/2in ones. the 18 1/2 one was 3lbs. i was getting huge ones there and i fished for probably 2 hrs there. it was an amazing time and i didn't even fish at all Saturday. so in about 5hrs of time i caught about 50 bass on 2 different lakes. it was sweet. if i would have been in a tourney and caught those i would have destroyed everyone else. |

at my neighbors pond i was using a black spinnerbait the whole time. at my aunts cottage i was using a crawdad on a jighead the whole time. the big fish at my aunts cottage looked like they were all spawning. just for more info.

I go to a small lake where you throw in and reel out one every time. (almost) Trouble is they are getting smaller every year. Overcrowding and compitition for food. The owner won't allow culling or thinning them out.

i threw all the fish back that i caught and none of them got a hook stuck in em so i hope they are all ok and it doesn't deplete the number. the crazy part is that i caught about half and half at two different lakes of 5 hrs together.

Man, maybe you need to call the lure company that makes the bait you were using. They might give you a spot on an infomercial.

Great job Bassinkid! I have heard of days like that around here, but I have not had one. I did fish your neck of the woods this weekend with Saturday on Bruin Lake, Blind Lake, and some intermediate water and today on Halfmoon Lake and Patterson Lake. Not so much luck though since it is tough to fish in 20MPH winds. Do you ever get out on that chain of lakes?
