Taking out the trash & finding a treasure
Took the trash out to my office dumpster. Inside was an old tackle box with a few lures and flies. Here are pics of the most unusual of the lot.

They look like flat fish or quik fish. Many steelhead and salmon guys troll them in my area. I have no doubt bass would also find them appealing. Check the line ties and replace the trebles and you're in business.

We've got a ton of old quik fish/flat fish. I've tried a couple of the smaller ones for bass. you have to reel very slowly, or the won't work.

Ahhhh.....the gool ol' Lazy Ike. Not sure if those are real Ikes or just knock offs, but I think they still make new ones, so they might not be as old as you think.
Either way, I've never caught a fish on one, though I tried my damnedest back when I was a kid. They just looked so neat, I had to try.

I think those are legit Lazy Ikes. I have a few of those that were in my Grandpa's tacklebox.

I have fished a few lazy Ikes. I believe that is a flatfish and it is made of wood.

There were a lot of flies too. I think some of the nymphs were hand tied. Not a lot of lures. A coupe of Rebels. A jitterbug knock-off and a River Runt.

You're definitely right about it not being an Ike...it's lacking the completely flat nose. Same sort of thing though.....they have great action, but no luck for me on them.
