Default How did the Monkey treat you for CHRISTmas?

I did alright. I got 4 new Strike King Silent Crankbaits from series 3-6XD. I also got a couple Strike King Swim Jigs, a Baby King Shad, and a Husky Jerk. I figure i got $50 worth of lures from the monkeys cousin Santa Bait Monkey...

Well, I did pretty well. I got the BPS RedHead Angler Jacket, the Heddon Pop'N Image, Spro Bronzeye Popper frog, Lucky Craft RC 1.5 RT crankbait, BPS ProQualifier 6.4:1 ratio, $40.00 BPS gift card, a Quarrow Super 6 Cap Light, and a Schumacher Automatic Deep Cycle Marine battery charger/maintainer. I am planning on having BassFishin.com put across the back of the jacket in gray lettering to match the gray trim of the jacket. The Santa Monkey put a smile on my face for sure.

I got a $25 BPS gift card and found a Abu Garcia Cardinal 302 spinning combo at Scheels for $30.00. My wife was set to get me the BPS JM Gold Series baitcaster but the kids really wanted the new XBOX with Konnect. So I made the sacrifice of not being able to stand in my driveway and practice pitching a practice plug with my new JM Gold series for a couple of months. But as soon as it goes on sale I’m in there. I got a feeling they might drop the price to $99.94 for a day or two as we enter the new year and await the arrival of the new JM series. I just hope they try and sneak in a price drop for either the Gold or Signature series. I’m swooping in like an eagle.

I turned in my sky miles yesterday for a gift to dear ole me. Dang I'm selfish. 350 large in BPS giffy! I am not a big fan of BPS, but then again, I am more of a fan for free. It equaled out well I believe. Might have to pick up a reel or 2. But then again, I am thinking about breaking down and buying a trolling motor for the 12' Stump Jumper.I might get the best of both worlds though and try the BP Prowler trolling motor and an Okuma Serrano.

The both look like nice reels, the Signature Series looks allot like the Pflueger XT, you will have to let us know how your new reel fishes when you get it.

I had a wonderful Christmas, I got a new Shimano Curado 50E reel and a set of Boca ABEC 7 orange seal bearings for it, gonna be my new finesse reel. My Son, my Wife, and the rest of my family combined for about 200 dollars in cash and gift cards, so the fun is about to begin.
