Default Bassmaster University Indiana

Kybasser's post reminded me for all of those in Hoosierland, there is a Class Feb 12th 2005, and 13th both days from 8:30am-3:00pm, located at the Beech Grove High School, Hosted by IUPUI. The cost is $109 for both days, plus if you bring a spouse or child under 16 it's only $55 for them. I'm trying to make sure I can attend, it has the following pro's on the list.

Mike Iaconelli on speed worm fishing and spinnerbaits.

Gerald Swindle on topwater techniques, eliminating uproductive water, and more.

Shaw Grigsby on plastic worm and Carolina rig.

Gary Klein on flipping and pitching, bass and cover, boat positioning and more.

Greg Hawk on deep water cranking, crankbaits and jerkbaits.

Rich Tauber on finesse fishing, the drop shot technique and finesse fishing, Part II.

You can enroll by phone (317) 278-7600 or I can fax a copy of the registration to those interested. If you want me to fax you a form, please IM me your Fax #

UNCLE LIZ,

That is a great line up. I have seen alll of them in past university classes except Greg Hawk. He is a new one to me. Rich Tauber will keep you in stitches, He is light in the loafers and makes no bones about it, but his antics alone will slay you, plus his knowledge of drop shotting is better than most. You will have a blast.

I'd like to go to this one, just to hear Ike and Swindle. I don't know if I will or not though. I've heard Tauber twice and Klein once - very informative. Tauber is funny - never had a real job, must be doing something right ;D

Fritts was there when I went and he is truly a crankbait legend. When he gives you a tip you really feel like you can go out and catch them like they do He is a great speaker and I enjoyed him the most.

I've seen Terry, Woo, and David. They all do a really great job. Real regular guys, they don't act like some of the Pros from other sports. They'll give you particular spots, colors, baits etc. I got some good spots on the Ohio River from talking to Larry Nixon-baits, presentations and all ;D

The only speaker I didn't care for was Denny Brauer, he came off as a snob to me. He started off the presentation by bragging about his new show "Schooled by Denny Brauer". That just threw me off for the rest of his speaking time.
