Default 601 boys, Lincoln is calling.

Looks like sleeping beauty is waking up in Wesson. I fished there earlier this month in a some horrible weather, there were 3 over 6 caught.

A local bass club had a tournament on Lake Lincoln State Park. The 5-fish bag winner was over 30lbs.(above) The big fish, which was part of the winning bag, was 11lbs 6oz.(below) Two fish were over 8lbs and numerous 5 and 6lbs fish were caught We were wondering when these big fish would be found. Last fall(07) we sampled the population and it revealed a shocking result. Numerous bass over 6lbs. Lake Lincoln is truly a hog heaven!

I've been there twice, for weekend camping trips. I skunked on the first trip, caught two dinks on the second. A buddy of mine swears that the best spot is at the edge of the grass bed immediately to the right after you leave the ramp. I wish I know that when I was there. Oh, well, maybe next time.

http://www.mdwfp.com/level2/Fisheries/pdf/maps/220.pdf

See that creek channel split between 9 & 12'
And the south end of the dam by the rip-rap
Well that's where we had luck and I have watched other guys stacked on that channel at the V.

I copied the pics from the mdwfp.com I think their server is down for maintenance or something, because the site is shut down. Who's got a boat big enough for all of us, 240 here, but i stay put pretty good. I will be home in "T" minus 2 weeks.

Bubba, if we tied your boat to mine, maybe we could both fit .
I've got this weekend open, maybe next weekend, too. After that, maybe March 28.
