Default Can I get an estimation?

My cousin has a pond which is strictly catch & release on bass over 4 pounds. I forgot my scales when I went a few Saturdays ago. I caught two nice bass. Both are resting on a boat seat which is 19.25 inches wide. Any guess on the weights?

If the seat is 19.25" wide, I'd estimate the first fish to be 23", and the second fish to be 21". Neither fish has a huge gut, but appear to have very thick, well-fed bodies (especially the first one).

I'd put the first one at about 6.5 lbs and the second one at around 5.

Thanks I had estimated the first at around 23.5 inches so 6.5 to 7 was my guess. They were caught within an hour of each other. First on a Pop-R type bait & the second on a sexy shad shallow runner.

.
Now you've done it.

I'm going to have trouble sleeping because of the visual imagery of a 7 lb'er on a Pop'R stuck in my head.

You are welcome. The other close to 7 pounder was caught on a Hula Popper. I am having to touch-up the POP-R he knocked a lot of paint off it.

I never did like you, Waffle.

There is just so much to say about that woman, yet somehow I'm still almost speechless.

Nice bass, 20" bass, and them things got shoulders too! Probably the first if just over 4, and the second, right around 4!
