BIG smallmouth bass

My wife's mom, dad and brother are visiting for Thankgiving. I had been telling him about the GIANT crappie I've been catching and told him I would take him fishing while he was here. Today we went to Lake Normandy. I put him on some crappie. He did ok, catching a couple keepers and one under the limit. We ended up with eight nice crappie between 13"-15". Those will be our dinner tonight.
While he was crappie fishing I took a break and started cranking for bass. I managed one small smallmouth and one HUGE one. Both caught on a crank bait, bluegill color.
The second one was 5 lb 2 oz and LONG! I catch largemouth like this all the time but catching a smallie like that around here is a special treat.

WOW!!! Thats a beautiful smallie, and those crappie are gonna taste great. When did you say dinner is???

..Catching a Smallie is special around here too. Especially one that looks as good as that one.
