Recent snowfall pics
According to my tape measure, I got around 14" of snow Friday night/Saturday morning.
Power was out for 2 1/2 days. Roads were still terrible 2 days after. Had to go get gas for the generator saturday afternoon. I drove in others' tracks, and pushed snow in some places. If I'd been thinking, I would have fired up my cell phone and made a video. Had to slalom around a couple downed trees and go under the last one. My truck wouldn't have made it, but the car came out on the other side with only minimal scratching The generator makes it easily bearable. Runs the furnace, hot water heater, refrigerator, microwave, hall light and all lights/outlets in the bathroom. I had heat and I could shower. I could run a cord from the bathroom outlet to a griddle, and make reubens. When I wasn't cooking, I ran the cord to my laptop. No internet, but I watched the entire first season of My Name Is Earl (3 year old xmas gift from an ex. Perfect time to check it out!) Major pain in the butt, but nothing compared to what the tornado victims have gone through. As much as I hate winter, I'll take a blizzard over that.

Wow, that looks bad, Mallen! Good to hear you are getting along ok. We were fortunate to have highs in the mid 30s last Tue/Wed so the precipitation we got was 1.25" of rain in a day and a half, with just a few flurries mixed in here and there, but no accumulating snow. Just over 2 hours north of us, they got anywhere from 15"-20" of snow.

Man, it's hitting 65 degrees here tomorrow. Keep that stuff up there! Nasty weather, but it is pretty. We average somewhere around 50 inches of snow every winter, but I don't think we have had 20 inches total yet. Well, maybe 20, but not any more than that.

Got 8 or 10 inches last week. Got up into the 50's yesterday, and been above freezing since then, and it's suppose to be like that through the weekend... hoping the ice is off by mid-march if I'm lucky!
