Mallen, I'll have to send you some of one of the local BBQ joint's sauce. Next time we go I'll get a bottle and send it to you.

Real TX BBQ sauce is normally not thick and has a spicy kick. Good stuff!

This is my favorite local BBQ joint. I don't know how their sauce compares to anyone else's but I'd be happy to pick you up a bottle and send it to you if you want.

Capn Unless somethings changed you really should move the St Johns up a notch or two. An absolute amazing fishery, only drops 30 feet over its entire 300 mile length. More like a very s l o w moving North bound lake than a river.

Literally.
Couldn't find pork trailers there last Fri.

They had every plastic Uncle Josh and Kalins carries but no pork products.

Oh.
There was ONE aisle that both sides were filled with Musky Supplies.
No Musky to fish for within two hundred miles and we live in a river town.

Was not meaning to knock you Mike, sorry if you thought that was my intentions.
sounds a lot like bass pro. they have more of everything else than they do fishing lures. the fishing tackle section takes up very little room compared to everything else. easy to figure there is more money to be made selling all the other things.

back to my bucket list. of course, i love fishing on falcon. but, the big o comes to mind, clear lake, the california delta, and some great nothern small mouth holes. table rock actually has a good population of brownies on the lower end, and they are sure fun to catch!

Seems that everyone wants to head south to the big bass waters. I'm thinking a little different. I want to go north, Maine maybe, to some small lake that doesn't get any pressure and fish for 4-5 lb smallies and largemouths that have never seen a lure. Also I'd like for the lake to have walleye so that I can stop and have a shore lunch before I head back out to whack some more bronzebacks and bucketmouths......

I like the idea of both. Now that I've broken the 10 lbs mark for lmb, and Ive broken the 5 lbs mark for smb a couple times, I really want to branch out and see what else is out there that I can do. After all, once you break 10 lbs, its not quite as urgent to say have to go find an 11.

So I think I want to become a better all around angler, and particularly experiance types of fishing that others dont touch. I guess Im becoming Jeremy Wade.

We've got World Record sized Northern Snakeheads over 15lbs, Blue cats over 140, Bowfin over 10 (line class records), and plenty of other fish for you to catch in VA.

MM - "A little bit" is when the sun comes out, snow and ice melt, and I start wearing shorts outside. For you it's called July or August .
