My PB for 2012 was the freak of nature that I showed you in my first ever post here. I won't bother reposting the pic (mainly because I don't know where I have it saved. )

This year, if we get to go, I am going to be sure to take pics, pics, pics!!

How about this monster smallie? It was barely as big as the 78 pointer it tried to eat (3"). That's a Curado 50E in the picture for an added reference. Thought I'd hooked a leaf or twig until it tried to jump, couldn't get much more than it's head out of the water because of the weight from that massive bait.

Hard to beat those whoppers,the smallmouth are impressive.
My pb came both the same trip almost back to back casts unfortunately my camera batteries down so had to take after transport both were bleeders and did not survive.Out of all the bass I caught last year maybe 4 died(other two were small) these are two.
13 1/2 pds in 2 fish deps soft crawler basirisky size 70 angola python and 50 lb braid.

PS were not wasted as had a fish fry.

Ok, for real this time. I can't compare to what Mule just posted, but here is my PB last year. It weighed 5 1/2 pounds if I remember right. But should have been heavier. This old girl was blind in one eye, which you can see if looking closely. I forget how long she was but she was very thin for spring time bass and looked sickly. Had she been healthy, I would bet she would have gone close to 8 pounds. She took a Heddon Rattlin Spook.

Can see the blind eye kdog. Both fish are nice. What time of the day did you catch those top water pigs?
