Default Fall Techniques - Highland Lakes

I am looking for some advice on fishing in the Fall on a Highland Lake. We have gone through a drought and the lake is actually down about 23' right now. I have been trying to find structure underwater and run a jig and craw to pull something out. I seem to have a very difficult time keeping my boat still enough to fish deep. I am always floating away and loosing my spot. Any suggestions?
