Now this is fishing the weeds/slop!!
I was dragging a worm over the top of this mess from my kayak and the action was incredible. It was exciting to see the fish swimming under this, disturbing the top slightly before smacking the surface with gusto. I did much better getting hits over the slop then I did in the occassional open area.
This is my daughters first fish she ever caught. A little smallmouth. Two days ago, on that same outfit rigged for a bluegill, a smallmouth that weighed probably 7 or 8 pounds hit it. Lost it right at the boat trying to lift it over the edge. |

That is absolutly an adorable picture of your daughter! That one should be framed. Too bad you were not able to land that biggin. That slop looks like a lot of the water I get into.

thanks. yep she loves to go fishing with me but gets bored easy. she likes to take the worms out and have them race across the boat deck. More interesting I guess. haha
